A member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, real estate investor Lee Kort specializes in the acquisition of manufactured home parks. Lee Kort holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After earning his degree, Lee Kort co-founded Kort & Scott Financial Group in 1989. As a company Partner, Lee Kort plays an instrumental role in the acquisition and management of an extensive property portfolio. Kort & Scott Financial Group focuses on the California market, but also acquires properties across the United States. In seeking to purchase mobile home parks, Lee Kort considers a list of relevant criteria. These requirements include locations near a large metropolitan area and within an hour’s driving distance of a major airport. Lee Kort will consider purchasing mobile home parks that cost at least $1 million and comprise at least 50 units. Aside from his career as a real estate investor, Lee Kort chooses to contribute to his community in meaningful ways. Lee Kort regularly donates to numerous charitable organizations including Women’s Cancer Research Fund, P.S. ARTS, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. Recently, Lee Kort has actively supported Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times. For leisure, Lee Kort enjoys playing golf, reading, and participating in athletic events such as the Sporteve Playa Del Rey Triathlon and L.A. Cancer Challenge, a run and walk for pancreatic cancer research.
